About the Fine Art Prints

We use a Canon iPF 5100 fine art printer with pigment ink sets for the widest gamaut possible.  These inks have been certified to be color correct when properly stored with a lightfastness of over 100 years.  We are currently printing these images on our new favorite paper:

Hahnemühle Bamboo Fine Art paper

We are currently using Hahnemule Bamboo Fine Art paper with a thickness of 290gsm.  This paper is a premium spiritual, soft Fine Art paper from ultra-pure bamboo fibres and pure spring water. This paper opens up a whole new artistic and spiritual dimension in Fine Art printing.

In addition to its classy feel and elegant appearance “Bamboo 290” possesses the image quality associated with Hahnemühle, achieved through its wide colour gamut, extreme colour density and sharpness as well as good contrast.
Bamboo is a great choice for fine art paper if the bamboo forest is FSC certified.   This paper has a beautiful warm tone since it’s naturally white. A bonus is that a portion of the revenue is donated in supporting environmental projects.
